RECOMMENDATION FOR HOTELS

Modern lifestyles and travel habits place increasing demands on hotels to provide high-quality, comfortable, and restful sleep for their guests. It is common for hotels to reach out with the question of how to choose the right base and mattress from today’s wide range of available models for their facility.

Base Selection - as mattress manufacturers, we set only two conditions for selecting a suitable bed base. If the mattress is placed on a base with hard or slatted (latoflex) slats, we recommend a maximum spacing between slats of 6 cm. For a double bed base consisting of two separate slatted bases, the use of two separate mattresses is required. A flat base can also be used; however, if possible, we suggest drilling a few holes to improve air circulation.

Mattress Selection - when choosing a mattress, the first thing to determine is the type of core. This can be a spring mattress (classic Bonnell springs or pocket springs) or a foam mattress (PU, HR, memory, or latex foam). Each of these mattress cores offers different sensations and levels of comfort. By selecting the desired core from our product range, it is always possible to find a mattress model with either softer or firmer support, or to achieve the desired comfort by choosing specific top comfort layers. We also offer a wide selection of fabrics and knits for mattress covers. For special hotel requirements, mattresses can be produced using flame-retardant PU foams or textiles—whether woven or knitted—according to the most demanding fire safety standards. Our recommendation is to include a waterproof cover as the best protection for your mattress against unwanted liquids and dirt, which can also be washed at 90°C, ensuring it remains fully hygienic.
